I started my fitness journey…. well as a kid. I’ve always been an active gal and just did whatever hobbies I loved and had fun moving my body. When I became a personal trainer 10 years ago my relationship with exercise became a bit of a mess. In 2013 I made the decision to start healing that relationship. I got pregnant in 2015 and after giving birth, losing my grandma, losing my dad and getting a divorce I wasn’t in the best routine for moving my body the way I truly wanted to. I’ve always been consistent with movement but the last few years it’s consisted of very nurturing exercise such as yoga and walking, as quite honestly that’s what my heart needed as I sorted my head out.
In 2018 I made the decision to get back to feeling like my full vibrant self which included doing movement that made me feel full of life and made me thrive. It’s continued to get better and I am now at a place where I feel the most alive with exercise than I have in the last few years. My journey hasn’t been perfect as I have had ups and downs, but one thing remains…. I refuse to quit.
If you need help getting started, I am running an online bootcamp and I would love for you to join us! It starts December 9th.
